Operating principle

This level switch detects liquid level using a magnet and reed switch. The magnetically actuated reed-switch contacts are sealed with inert gas inside a glass tube.

A magnet is installed in the float and the reed switch is fixed at the detection position in the stem. The float moves along the stem to turn the reed switch on and off.
