A microswitch is used in the sensor contact section with consideration for environmental impact during use and handling.

Installation is as simple as suspension. Use FT55 and FT77 for multipoint detection.
The large, durable junction box is designed for electrical-work accessibility, and its cover can be installed and removed without screws or bolts.

Operating principle

The float section has greater mass than buoyancy, with the center of buoyancy toward the tip and the center of gravity toward the cable. As liquid level rises, the float enters the liquid and tilts from the rotational moment created by the offset centers, causing the internal steel ball to roll and open the microswitch contact.
As the liquid level falls below the float, reverse action changes the microswitch contact and the steel ball returns to its original position.
