Can be used for fuel tanks, lubricating-oil tanks, liquid tanks and similar applications, excluding decks, bridges and cargo residue (excluding pressure-resistant explosion-proof types).

Operating principle

This level switch detects liquid level using a magnet and reed switch. The magnetically actuated reed-switch contacts are sealed with inert gas inside a glass tube.

A magnet is installed in the float and the reed switch is fixed at the detection position in the stem. The float moves along the stem to turn the reed switch on and off.
