The ETOH IHE0110A bearing heater uses inverter-driven electromagnetic induction to expand bearings for interference-fit installation. Heating requires no open flame or oil bath, helping reduce the risk of damage from hammering or forced mounting. Applications include machinery assembly, maintenance, and bearing replacement, as well as shrink-fitting suitable gears, couplings, and other ring-shaped metal components.
The unit has a rated capacity of 1 kVA and operates on single-phase AC100–120V, 50/60Hz, with a rated current of 10A. Standard bearing limits are a minimum bore of 20 mm, maximum outside diameter of 200 mm, maximum thickness of 70 mm, and maximum weight of 12 kg. The appropriate heating yoke must be selected for the workpiece bore.
A temperature sensor monitors the workpiece, and automatic demagnetization follows heating. The temperature setting range is 33–250°C; however, the actual bearing heating temperature must follow the bearing manufacturer’s instructions. Check workpiece dimensions, weight, power supply, and accessories before selection.
