The KOMYO RIKAGAKU AP-20 blue gas sampling pump is a manually operated pump for use with KITAGAWA gas detector tubes. Its piston mechanism draws a measured gas sample through the selected tube, allowing the gas concentration to be read from the tube’s colour-change stain. No external power supply is required.
The pump features a soft, non-slip antibacterial grip and a sampling completion indicator. An integrated ceramic tip cutter opens both ends of the detector tube, while a covered collection section retains broken glass for disposal.
Select the detector tube according to the target gas and expected concentration. Follow the tube instructions for sampling strokes, waiting time, and any required corrections. The pump must be used with a suitable detector tube and does not independently display gas concentration.
